Поездка на Кипр. Варе и Льву 8 месяцев | Trip to Cyprus. Varja and Lev are 8 months old

Первый пост «по существу» посвящаю приятному – отпуску. Я постаралась детально описать всё, что может пригодиться вам при планировании поездки. 

First essential post is devoted to one pleasant thing – vacation. I tried to innumerate everything scrupulously that would help you to plan your trip.

Все родители сами решают – соразмерно своим страхам и предрассудкам – когда их ребёнок и они сами готовы к первому путешествию. Кипр стал нашей уже второй по счёту поездкой с карапузами. С момента последнего отдыха прошёл год - самый тяжёлый в нашей жизни. Смена обстановки и солнце не казались роскошью и эгоизмом.  А только способом сохранить остатки нашей адекватности и терпения, нужные как раз Варе и Льву. Поэтому, когда у нас появилась возможность оказаться у моря, вопрос «Ехать или нет?» не стоял.

Each couple tries to decide by themselves, on the account to their own fears and prejudices, when their child and they themselves are ready for their first trip. Cyprus turned out to be our second trip with our toddlers. One year passed since the last trip – this year appeared to be the most difficult in our life.  The change of the settings and the sun didn’t seem like a luxury and egoism. There was no arousing question ‘whether we should or shouldn’t set on our trip?’.


В вопросе путешествия с детьми, независимо от их количества и возраста, как и в любом другом жизненном вопросе – важен настрой. Проблем, трудностей и волнений будет ровно столько, сколько вы сами себе создадите. Есть не так уж много вещей, которые достойны переживаний. А в отпуске – их ещё меньше. 

Quite a peculiar thing concerning a trip with children, regardless of their number and age, as well as in any other life issues – your attitude is really important. Problems, difficulties and worries would count in the number you’ll create yourself. There’re not too many things so important that worth endure. You’ll get them much less in your vacation.

Выбор страны. Кипр мы выбрали потому что | Selecting country: We have chosen Cyprus because:

• Климат. В первые 2 недели апреля перепад температуры относительно Санкт-Петербурга был сравнительно небольшим. Весна в городе наступила рано и из питерских +9 мы попали в кипрские до +20 иногда +25. Также мы рассматривали Турцию, но сезон чартерных рейсов ещё не был открыт. Мы бы не отказались и от Тайланда, но такой вариант возможен с более взрослыми детьми.
• Виза. Получать шенген по ряду причин для нас было затруднительным. Тем более кроме Испании нам ничего не подходило. Вариант отдыха, например, в Риме пришлось исключить – сидеть в номере или в ближайшем к отелю сквере в таком городе было бы мучительно для нас. А музеи и местные красоты в режиме нон стоп  с утра до вечера вряд ли бы оценили  Лев и Варя.
• Длительность перелёта. С учётом дороги до аэропорта и из аэропорта в отель + перелёт – это два кормления и один сон. Несложно для нас и не утомительно для детей.
• Опыт. На Кипре мы уже были, в частности в выбранном нами отеле. Мы знали, на какие условия, еду и ассортимент в ближайших магазинах можем рассчитывать.

• Because of climate: in a fortnight the temperature amplitudes were not so hurtful concerning St.Petersburg. Spring came up early and we came from St.Petersburg +9 to Cyprus +25. We were taking into account Turkey, but there were no charter-flights opened yet. We wouldn’t mind Thailand, but it is not possible when children are underage.
• Because of visa. Shengen-visa was difficult to get on the ground of several reasons. There were no acceptable choices except Spain. Trip to Rome was to be omitted – it would be painful to sit at our hotel-rooms or at the nearest park in a city like Rome. Museums and local-beauties in the non-stop mode from morning till evening are unlikely to be appreciated by Lev and Varja.
• The duration of the flight. Counting the time on the road to the airport and from the airport to the hotel + flight itself – result in two feeding and one nap. No difficulties for us and no tiring for toddlers.
• Experience. We have already been to Cyprus, and at the same hotel. We knew the conditions range of food and goods to expect in the nearest shops.

 Багаж. Всего у нас было 6+1 единица транспортировочной ёмкости для вещей | Luggage. We had 6+1 carriages for our package

1 и 2. Два больших чемодана (объём 70л). 

Один – жизнеутверждающий зелёный Samsonite из пластика, второй – скромный тканевый товарищ, купленный 
накануне вылета в гипермаркете Лента по фишечкам за 1299 рублей. Мы боялись, что последний не выдержит суровой силы мужественных сотрудников багажного департамента Пулково. Но всё закончилось хорошо – в следующее путешествие мы его тоже возьмём.

Кроме наших вещей (мы старались брать только необходимое, но с учётом того, что это отпуск и 2 вечерних платья и к каждому из них своя пара туфель – не роскошь) поместилось 2 пачки подгузников, 2 косметички, 1 аптечка, 10 кг банок с питанием (про еду, уход и лекарства – будет отдельно). Какую и сколько одежды брать детям мы не знали, поэтому взяли всю, что была.

1 and 2.Two large suitcases (70l).The first one is a vital green Samsonite made in plastic, the second –a modest fabric companion that was bought on the eve of a departure in the supermarket Lenta with the help of chip special offer that resulted in 1299 rubles for. We were afraid of the fabric bag won't survive the severe strength of courageous Pulkovo luggage service’s hands. Everything turned out to be all right – we’ll have it with us in our next trip.

Except our things(we tried to bring only things that necessary, but taking into consideration that this is our vacation and two evening dresses having each own pair of shoes is not a luxury) we got 2 packs of diapers, 2 cosmetic bags, 1 first aid kit, 10 kilo tins of infants food(I’ll tell about medicine and food a lil bit later). We didn’t know which one and how man clothes for children should we get, and that’s why we took all we had.

 
3. Небольшой рюкзак.
(Спасибо почти 26-летнему брату Максиму, что носил в школе аккуратно!) В нём было всё необходимое, чтобы с комфортом переодеть детей в любых условиях – будь то туалет или взлётная полоса Пулково. 

Список: подгузники по 5 шт на каждого на всю поездку, две пачки влажных салфеток - для попы и сосок, непромокающая простынка, пара вот таких полотенец ­ IKEA, пакеты для использованных подгузников, пелёнка. Набор для позднего завтрака: ложки, салфетки сухие и влажные, приготовленная заранее каша в контейнерах, банки с яблочным пюре, одноразовые бибсы.

3. Small backpack.
(Thanks to older brother Maxim who is almost 26 now, that he carried this backpack at school jolly cautious!) It had all the things necessary to change children’s clothes wherever you go – whether a lavatory or take-off runaway of Pulkovo Airport.
The list: diapers counted in 5 for one toddler along our entire trip, two packs of baby wipes – for a bottom and a comforter, water-proof bed-sheet, a pair of IKEA towels, packages for used diapers, a nappy. Brunch set: spoons, dry and wet towel wipes, beforehand made porridge in containers, tins with mashed apple, disposable bibs.

4. Пляжная сумка Women's Secret, 
которую легко вписать в look человека, летящего на отдых. В ней, помимо всех нужных документов и гаджетов были игрушки для незатейливого досуга на борту самолёта.

Эту сумку я уже не первый год люблю преданно и нежно за неяркую, но подлинную красоту и стиль, отменное качество и способность вместить в себя всё то, что никуда больше не влезает.  Хотя её можно легко заменить на Speedy  40  или большую Sicilia. 


4. Beach bag Woman’s Secret
which is easy to imagine in the look of the person on the travel. There were, besides all necessary documents and devices, toys for simple leisure aboard.
I love this bag continually faithfully and gently the whole year for its soft, but genuine beauty and style, excellent quality and ability to contain in it everything that doesn't get anywhere anymore.
It can be easily replaced with Speedy 40 or big Sicilia though.
5. Мягкая сумка . 

Сейчас у нас эко-бум, который начинается и заканчивается на продающихся в сетевых супермаркетах брендированных  тканевых сумках. Вот типа такой у нас была для наших кофт и флисовых комбинезонов и пледов, в которых мы добирались до аэропорта.

5. Soft bag.
We have an eco-boom now which begins and comes to an end on the branded fabric bags which are on sale in network supermarkets. That type of bag like we had for our jackets and fleece overalls and plaids in which we reached the airport.
 
6. Коврик для йоги.
Я всерьёз надеялась заниматься. Точнее - мечтала, как на рассвете буду идти к морю, в прохладе утра и под звуки волн централизироваться.

6. Yoga mat.
I seriously hoped to be engaged in it. More precisely - I dreamed as I was about to go to the sea at sunrise, in a cool breeze of morning and under sounds of waves I was about to meditate.
 

Два чемодана (+1) были сданы в багаж. Остальное взяли в салон. 
Two suitcases (+1) were handed over into the baggage. The rest was taken on board.

Уже в аэропорту у нас образовалась ещё одна сумка. Вес каждого из наших чемоданов составил около 27 кг. Допустимый максимум у Аэрофлота, которым мы имели большое счастье и честь лететь,  23 кг. Однако, на сайте компании в разделе Вопросы и ответы есть следующая информация:

We occurred to have already one more bag at the airport. The weight of each of our suitcases made about 27 kg. An admissible maximum at Aeroflot with which we had great happiness and honor to fly, was 23 kg. However, on the site of the company in the section FAQ the following information exists:

     

- Can baggage weight of passengers traveling together be folded?
If passengers are traveling together with the same purpose of the trip, in the same destination airport or stop by one and the same flight (family members, people taking journey together, or going to a business trip), then at the request of passengers allowed to use the amount of free baggage allowance for each of passengers based by the number of seats. The summation of the established norms of weight and size is not allowed. Combining applies only to the free baggage allowance. Baggage is issued for each passenger individually.
 

«Это про нас!» - обрадовались мы. Но решили на всякий случай позвонить в колл-центр и убедиться. Звонили мы три раза. Три раза операторы не знали о том, что такое на сайте написано. Но так как разговоры записываются, они «отключались», уточняли и – таки да! – это возможно. А нужно всего ничего – подать индивидуальную заявку. Когда и где? Прямо во время регистрации. 

“That’s our case!” – we were delighted! We decided to phone to the call-centre and make it totally clear. We were calling for three times. All those three times operators didn’t know about the information given at the site at all. On the ground conversations recorded, they were ‘disconnected for a while’, refined - and – yes! – it was possible. There is one thing you have to do – to submit an individual application. How and where? During registration only.

Сотрудники Аэрофлота при регистрации на рейс отказались принимать наш багаж, аргументируя это инструкцией. На наши слова о том, что на сайте написано другое и операторы подтвердили эту информацию, получили предложение обратиться в офис компании на Невском проспекте 61, ежедневно с 10:00 до 20:00. Пока мой хороший покупал сумку, я позвонила ещё раз в колл-центр. Сотрудники колл-центра никак не могут повлиять на работу сотрудников компании на местах. Можно только обращаться с официальной жалобой на Невский проспект, 61. Ежедневно с 10:00 до 20:00.


Aeroflot staff refused to accept our baggage at check-in, reasoning the instruction. Reaction on our words that the information given on the site have been confirmed by the operators, lead the offer to address to office of the company on Nevsky Avenue 61, daily from 10:00 to 20:00. While my honey was buying a suitcase, I called call center once again. Call center agents couldn't affect company staff work on sites anyway. It is only possible to address with the official complaint to Nevsky Avenue, 61. Daily from 10:00 to 20:00.

Итог какой. Мы перенервничали и наш патриотизм ушёл в ещё больший минус.  У нас появилась ещё одна сумка, к счастью, удобная и приятная. Мы ещё раз – хотя и так знали – убедились, что нельзя верить тому, что написано на сайте русских или иностранных, работающих в России компаний, нельзя верить тому, что отвечают операторы колл-центра – это всё создано для освоения бюджета. Если вам нужна реальность – вам нужно ехать и выяснять ситуацию на месте. В худшем случае – звонить в аэропорт. Хотя, понимаете, это никаких гарантий не даёт. Ведь сегодня один сотрудник (имевший утром хороший секс), завтра – другой (не имевший). А значит и «инструкции» разные.

The result goes here. We overreacted and our patriotism gone almost at the extreme zero point. We got one more bag, quite a comfortable and nice one, fortunately. We assured once again – though we had already knew – that it is impossible to believe everything what is written on the site Russian or foreign companies working in Russia, it is impossible to believe that call center operators answer - everything is created for development of the budget. If you need to know how things naturally act – you need to go and find out a situation on the spot. Worst case scenario – to call in the airport. Though, you understand, it doesn't imply any guarantees. One day comes a staff-member (who had good morning sex), the day after – another one (lacking it). That means also "instructions" are different.

И по факту: на каждого взрослого по 23 кг – в багаж, на каждого ребёнка – максимум 10 кг в багаж в виде отдельной единицы.

К слову, помимо багажа, мы уточняли по поводу максимальных габаритов коляски – никаких ограничений нет, главное, чтобы была сложена; и требований к провозу детского питания – один оператор сказал, что в стекле категорически нельзя, другой – можно. Мы пронесли и коляску и питание в стекле. Надеюсь, вам тоже повезёт.

And summing all up: each adult was counted for 23 kg – in baggage, each child – at most 10 kg in baggage in the form of separate unit.
By the way, in addition to baggage, we specified the maximum dimensions of a baby carriage – there were no restrictions, the thing was that the carriage should be folded; and describing requirements to baby food transportation – one operator told that glass bottles are prohibited, another  said – it was possible. We carried both the stroller and food in glass. I hope you’ll have a stroke of luck.

Как это пережила наша коляска Bugaboo Donkey Twin | How Bugaboo Donkey Twin stroller managed 

О том, чтобы не брать коляску или обойтись BabyBorn не было даже и речи. Нет, я бы согласилась 2 недели носить 8 кг на руках ежедневно, если бы от этого качался трицепс. Мы уточнили у авиакомпании Аэрофлот, что ограничений по весу и габаритам нет – главное, чтобы складывалась. Так и оказалось. 

Having no carriage or having only BabyBorn was out of question. No, I would actually agree to carry 8 kg for a fortnight in arms daily if it lifted triceps. We checked Aeroflot airline that there were no restrictions on the weight and dimensions – the main thing that it should be folded. In a word, it was proved.

- Сборы 

Наша коляска Bugaboo Donkey Twin (обещаю отдельно рассказать о всех невероятных возможностях, которые открывает вам эта коляска всего за каких-то там 60-80 тысяч рублей).  Во время путешествий её вместе с прогулочными блоками можно компактно сложить, упаковать в красивую сумку для транспортировки коляски, трижды перекрестить и отправить в багажное отделение. Но покупать специальную сумку за 7000 рублей у нас не было ни желания, ни возможности, ни уверенности в том, что и сумку и коляску мы при прибытии на Кипр вообще увидим. 

- Packing up
Our baby carriage Bugaboo Donkey Twin (I promise to focus on it separately and all its incredible opportunities which this stroller opens for only 60-80 thousand rubles). It can be compactly folded with walking blocks into a beautiful bag for transportation during the trip, to cross three times and send to the luggage compartment. We had no desire no opportunity to spend our money on a specified bag for 7000 rubles, and also we had zero confidence if we see our bag and our carriage on arrival to Cyprus at all.
 

Поэтому мы выбрали русский вариант решения вопроса  - пошить чехол самостоятельно. Нам понадобилась швейная машинка (мама, спасибо за машинку и генетический навык), 3 синих сумки  IKEA (ну, IKEA по жизни благодарны все творческие личности, родители и у кого немного денег) и несколько вечеров. Фотографии чехла в деле не будет. Это просто что-то, повторяющее формы сложенной коляски, что мы без выкройки прочно сшили. Держался чехол за счёт тугой посадки и ручек тех же сумок.

Therefore we chose the Russian solution of the question - to sew a cover independently. We needed the sewing machine (thanks to mother for the sewing machine and genetic skill), 3 IKEA blue bags (all creative minds that have some, and parents also, are grateful to IKEA for real) and few evenings. There will be no photo of a cover in the process. It is something simple, repeating forms of the folded stroller that we sewed without a pattern. The cover held due to tight fit and handles of the bags.

- Дорога

В Пулково уже перед трапом один из нас держал Варю и Льва, второй складывал коляску и натягивал чехол. Все наблюдали. В аэропорту Ларнаки мы забрали коляску возле выдачи багажа, до этого момента мы несли детей на руках. Все коляски с рейса стояли недалеко от багажной ленты и к ним был приставлен сотрудник. На обратном пути к самолёту шёл рукав, коляску мы сдали уже прямо у входа в самолёт. В Пулково мы совершенно случайно нашли её в очень неожиданном месте. Т.е. мы уже пошли искать того, у кого можно узнать, где можно найти нашу коляску – рядом с багажной лентой коляски не выгружают.

One of us kept Varya and Lev just before an air stairs in Pulkovo, the other was putting up a baby carriage and pulling a cover. We were watched by everyone. We took a stroller near baggage delivery at Larnaca Airport, up to this moment we were carrying children in arms. All baby carriages stood near a luggage carousel and the employee was put to them. There was a luggage carousel; we handed over the carriage right near the entrance to the plane on the way back to the plane. Incidentally we managed to find it in a quite unexpected place in Pulkovo. I.e. we already set in the search of somebody from whom it is possible to learn where our carriage can be found – baby carriages are not unloaded right near the luggage tape.

- На Кипре

На Кипре мы вообще забыли, что у нас коляска. В Санкт-Петербурге, когда у тебя рождается ребёнок, первое время на прогулках ты всё время думаешь о тех, кто вынужден передвигаться в инвалидном кресле. «Ах вот почему таких людей не встретишь в городе!», только редких туристов-экстрималов. Если вдруг ваша инвалидная коляска помещается в лифт (если, конечно, у вас в доме есть лифт), имеется пандус и вы можете выбираться из квартиры на улицу, то здесь ждёт много действительно непреодолимых препятствий.  И это не только отсутствующие съезды на перекрёстках, но и припаркованные на тротуарах машины, глубокие водоотливы на тех же тротуарах,  рекламные лайт-боксы, дорожные знаки, будки с охранниками у консульств, летние террасы ресторанов – никогда не знаешь, что заставит тебя возвращаться и делать крюк. Но мне-то с коляской сколько ездить? А им всю жизнь. 


We forgot completely that we had a carriage in Cyprus. When you give birth to the child in St. Petersburg, at first you always keep thinking of those who are compelled to move around in a wheelchair. "Ah that is why you won't meet these people in the city!", only rare extreme tourists. If your wheelchair appears to fit the elevator (on the condition, of course, you have an elevator in the block of flats, there is a ramp and you can get out of the apartment into the streets, many severe obstacles are waiting for you. Wouldn’t it be only the absent congresses at crossroads, but also the cars parked on sidewalks, deep drains on these same sidewalks, advertizing light boxes, road signs, and boxes with security guards near ambassadors buildings, restaurants’ summer terraces– you’ll never know what will force you to come back and make a detour. How much time do I have to go with a carriage? They are compelled to do this in lifetime.

Так вот. На Кипре мы почувствовали, как это, когда каждый выход на улицу не превращается в изнуряющую пытку. Во-первых, тепло. И одеть обоих с нуля вполне реально за 5, а не 55 (это не художественная гипербола, а реальность) минут. Во-вторых, наша коляска помещается во все проёмы. Вообще, Bugaboo Donkey Twin входит во все стандартные проёмы. Но у нас часто либо делают вторую зашитую створку, либо дверь не распахивается до конца, либо перед или после двери нечто, что нельзя объехать – да мало ли, что мы тут в России не напридумываем, чтоб веселей было! В-третьих, лифт, пандусы, съезды и т.д. 
И не нужно вот это вот каждый раз: снял и отнёс люльки, сложил, дотащил, пристегнул коляску. И в обратной очерёдности. Словом, God bless вырождающуюся, гниющую, буржуазную Европу и весь остальной цивилизованный мир.

I’ll continue. We felt in Cyprus, as in the case, when each outside walk doesn't turn into an exhausting torture. The first thing is the weather was warm and fine. To dress both from scratch is quite real for 5, but not 55 (it is not a stylistic hyperbole, but reality) minutes. The second one, our carriage fits in all doorways. In general, Bugaboo Donkey Twin fits all standard doorways. But we do often have self-made second sewn-up shutter, or the door can't be opened widely enough, either before or after a door there is something that it is impossible to make detour – yes you’ll never know what we’ll make up our minds to be full of the joys of spring here in Russia. The third, elevators, ramps, etc.
There is also no necessity for this kind of thing each time: to remove and carry cradles, to put it up, to drag it, to fasten a baby carriage. All those things are done all over again and again. In a word, God bless the degenerating, decaying, bourgeois Europe and the rest civilized world. 

Также с нашей коляской не было проблемой гулять вдоль моря по неровной дороге или песку. Отсутствие пыли и грязи позволяло по полной использовать сумку под люльками и возить в ней без пакетов все нужные вещи.

Прогулочные блоки коляски мы также использовали во время ужина. Завтрак был совместный и Варя и Лев ели в ресторане в стульях. Ужин у нас был в разное время и, чтобы не держать их на руках, кормили в снятых с коляски блоках. Они удобно, прочно и под нормальным для приёма еды углом становятся на любую горизонтальную поверхность. 


There wasn't a problem walking along the sea on the rough road or sand with our stroller. Lack of dust and dirt allowed to use a bag under cradles in fullest and to carry in it all necessary things without packages.
We also used walking blocks of a carriage during a dinner. The breakfast was joint, both Varya and Lev ate at restaurant in the stool. We had a dinner at different periods of time and not to hold children on hands, fed in the blocks removed from a stroller. They are put on any horizontal surface jolly conveniently, steady and in a position, normal for eating. 

Трасфер у нас был индивидуальный в виде микроавтобуса. Поэтому проблем с тем, чтобы коляска и всё остальное поместилось в багажник  - не было. Но для этого я заранее долго и многословно переписывалась с турфирмой, чтобы не было сюрпризов. Вообще, с детьми такого возраста настоятельно рекомендуем  индивидуальный трансфер. Особенно, если у вас рейсы в неудобное время.

We had individual transfer in the form of the minibus. Therefore there were no problems with a baby carriage and all the rest things that should have been located in a luggage carrier of a car. It took me a long time beforehand to correspond wordily with the travel agency to avoid unexpected surprises. In general, we strongly recommend an individual transfer with toddlers of this age. Especially, when you have inconvenient flight’s time.

Перелёт | Flight

Здесь нам повезло в том плане, что самолёт на обоих рейсах был наполнен не полностью и мы могли сидеть рядом. Дело в том, что, например, в самолётах, где 2 ряда по 3 места, над каждым рядом находится 8 кислородных масок. Т.е. над тремя местами 4 маски. Значит, на каждом ряду может лететь не больше двух детей на руках и в разных частях ряда. Т.е. мы четверо можем сидеть рядом только если пассажира на третьем месте нет.  Или через проход. Поняли? :)

На время полёта среднее между нами место мы оборудовали под игровую и пеленальный столик. Вполне удобно для карапузов такого возраста. Они ещё не нуждаются в активных передвижениях, но уже отлично сидят и интересуются игрушками. 

We had luck meaning that the plane on both flights wasn’t fully closed and we could sit right near each other. The matter is that, for example, in planes with 2 rows of 3 places, above each row there are 8 oxygen masks. I.e. there are 4 masks above 3 places. That means each row can have no more than two children on arms and in different seats of a row. I.e. we four can sit next only if there is no passenger on the third place. Or through the gangway. Did you get the message? : )
During flight time we equipped a passenger seat between us in playing space and a paddling table. It was really comfy for toddlers of their age. They don't need active movement yet, but they can sit perfectly and have great interest in toys.
 

Во время полёта у нас было только кормление грудью. По дороге на Кипр рейс задержали на 2 часа, поэтому мы успели поесть в Пулково. Обратно время еды выпадало на начало и конец рейса. Чтобы не суетиться, покормили два раза подряд грудью.

Варя и Лев оба перелёта перенесли хорошо. Они играли, спали, смотрели на прибегающих поглазеть на них детей. Варя, конечно, для порядка пару раз капризничала - требовала фуагра и устрицы фин де клер no1. Словом – ничего особого.

Проблема заложенных ушей нас не беспокоила и заранее мы её не решали каплями и ваточками. Если будут орать – соска, грудь или бутылочка. Т.е. что-то, чтобы сосали. На выбор.

During flight we had only nursing. Our flight was delayed for 2 hours on the way to Cyprus therefore we managed to eat in Pulkovo. Feeding time came at the beginning and the end of our back-flight. In order not to make fuss, we fed children two times in a row with breast.
Varya and Lev endured both flights well. They played, slept, looked at children who were coming to have a look at them. Varya, of course, tried to play tantrum for several times for a norm - demanded a fois gras and an oyster the Finn de Cler of no1. In short – nothing special.
The problem of the stuffed-up(inherent) ears didn't disturb us and we didn't solve it beforehand by drops and vatochka. If toddlers start shouting – we need a pacifier, a breast or a small bottle. I.e. something that can be sucked. It’s for you to choose.

Список необходимого мы составили благодаря постам на BabyBlog’е. Всего брали в количестве, нужном для курса лечения двоим с учётом возраста.

- Температура: Нурофен, сироп, Вибуркол, свечи, Термометр.

- Зубы: Холисал, гель.

- Насморк: Аквамарис для детей, капли, Називин, Отривин беби, аспиратор и сменные насадки.

- Запоры: Дюфалак.

- Кашель: Микстура от кашля для детей сухая.

- Для глаз: Макситрол.

- От аллергии: Фенистил, капли

- Отравления: Мотилиум (при рвоте), Регидрон (обезвоживание при диарее и рвоте), Смекта (диарея).

Также лучше взять ещё Энтерофурил, капсулы, который нужно принимать при кишечных инфекциях, если Смекта в течении 2-3-х дней не помогает.


Must have list was made thanks to BabyBlog posts. We took everything in amount necessary for a course of treatment for two, taking into account their age.
- Temperature: Nurofen, in syrup, Viburkol, suppositories. Thermometer.
- Teeth: Holisal, in gel.
- Cold: Akvamaris for children, drops, Nazivin, Otrivin for baby, an aspirator and replaceable nozzles.
- Locks: Dyufalak.
- Cough: Dry Mixture for cough for children.
- Eyes: Maksitrol.
- Allergy: Fenistil, in drops.
- Poisoning: Motilium (at vomiting), Regidron (dehydration at diarrhea and vomiting), Smekta (diarrhea).

You’d also better take Enterofuril, in capsules, which needs to be treated at intestinal infections if Smekta doesn't help within 2-3 days.

Косметичка | Cosmetics bag

Косметичка Вари и Льва состояла по факту из двух продуктов. 

-  минеральный санскрин Avene Very High Protection Mineral Lotion For Intolerant Skin. Он выбеливает кожу, плохо распределяется, не отстирывается, если не подождать до полного впитывания. Удобен тем, что ты точно видишь, плотность нанесённого слоя и проплешины.  Покупался специально, в подарок получили  Avene Eau Thermale, которой несколько раз пользовались после пляжа и – очень удобная для облизывания бутылочка.

- Emolium Cleansing Creamy Gel  используем дома для купания и мытья поп. Неудобен отсутствием помпы. Но это гарантирует непротекание при транспортировке. Плюс – мы приноровились: переворачиваешь и выдавливаешь средство прямо на кожу.  Флакон храним с незавинченной крышкой.

- Для себя брали кокосовое масло. Как и дома, иногда после купаний в отпуске использовали и для детей.

Varya’s and Lev’s cosmetics bag consisted upon of two products.
- Mineral sunscreen Avene Very High Protection Mineral Lotion For Intolerant Skin. It bleaches the skin, is badly distributed, and doesn’t wash off if you won’t wait till its full absorption. It is convenient because you see precisely, density of the layer put and bald spots. It was bought especially, and we also received as a gift Avene Eau Thermale which was used several times after a beach and – a small bottle, very comfy for licking.
- Emolium Cleansing Creamy Gel is used for bathing and washing of bottoms at home. It is inconvenient because of lack of pomp. But it guarantees liquid hold. Plus – we caught the trick: you overturn and squeeze out directly on skin. We store a bottle with unscrewed up cover.
- We took coconut oil for ourselves. As well at home, we used it for children after bathing on our vacation.
 

Еда | Food

Здесь волнений у нас особых не было, поскольку 

1. в Айя-Напу мы (как придурки) ехали уже в четвёртый раз. Мы знали, в каком магазине хорошие цены на овощи. Покупали брокколи, морковь, фенхель, стрючковую фасоль. Отмечу, что после возвращения овощные отделы в местных супермаркетах вызывают уныние.
2.  Фрукты мы покупали редко, как нормальные русские, яблоки, груши и бананы брали за завтраками и ужинами в отеле.
3. С собой мы везли пароварку-блендер Avent (штука, достойная отдельного рассказа).  И взяли (общим весом 10кг) в банках мясо из расчёта по 50гр через день, фруктовое пюре и чернослив. Также сухую растворимую кашу в ассортименте из расчёта на две недели.

We had no extra emotions on the ground:

1. We (like morons) were going to Ayia Napa already for the fourth time. We knew which shop had good prices for vegetables. We were buying broccoli, carrots, fennel, and runner beans. I should note that vegetable departments in our local supermarkets cause despondency after coming back from vacation.
2.  We bought fruits rare as normal (overage) Russians, apples, pears and bananas were taken for breakfasts and dinners at the hotel.
3. We took Avent double steamer blender with us (a thing, worthy of a attention). We took also tinned meet (weighted in common 10kg) counting 50gr a day, fruit puree and prunes. There were also dry soluble porridge varieties, on a basis of a fortnight.

Завтрак | Breakfast

Лев и Варя завтракали вместе с нами в ресторане отеля. В казённых мисках для каши мы заваривали по инструкции кашу (4 ст.ложки на 125мл.жидкости). Сначала мы брали кипяток и горячее молоко 1:1, потом от молока отказались. В кашу добавляли заранее приготовленные в пароварке фрукты: яблоко или груша.

Каша, фруктовое пюре в контейнере, ложки, бибсы, салфетки и бутылочка в качестве измерителя жидкости – стандартный набор, который брали с собой на завтрак. Сначала мы кормили Варю и Льва, потом ели сами, а они уже немного устало реагировали на «Смотри-смотри, двойняшки! Ляяяяялечки!»

Пару раз мы давали им готовую овсяную кашу из меню завтрака. Но лучше не надо. Завтракали в стульях IKEA.

Lev and Varya had breakfast together with us in the restaurant of the hotel. We were cooking porridge according to the instructions given in commonplace bowls (4 tablespoons for 125ml of liquid). We took boiled water and hot milk 1:1 at the beginning, then milk refused. Made in a steamer fruits, apples or pears were added to the porridge.
Porridge, fruit puree in the container, spoons, bibs, napkins and a small bottle as the liquid measuring instrument – is a standard set which we took for breakfast with us. At first we fed Varya and Lev, then ate our meal, and they had wearily reaction to ”Look-look, twins! Cuuuuutiiiies!”.
We had given them precooked porridge from the menu for breakfast for several times. It’s no worthy. They had their breakfast in IKEA stools.

Ужин | Dinner

В номере в пароварке готовили овощи. Добавляли мясо или желток (сваренные вкрутую яйца брали за завтраками). На десерт – баночное пюре. Ели, как уже говорила, в прогулочных блоках от коляски – ставили их на пол. 

We cooked vegetables in a steamer at our hotel room. Meet or yolk added (hard-boiled eggs took for breakfasts). For a dessert was – tinned mashed potato. They had their meal, as I’ve already said - in walking blocks from a baby carriage –putting them on a floor.

 

Просчёты | Miscalculations:

- В меню отсутствовали кисломолочные продукты. Специальных детских йогуртов в продаже не было. Давали однажды взрослый – простой, без наполнителя, с натуральным составом. Потом перестали.

- Не взяли с собой соков. Мы только на Кипре случайно узнали, что наши дети пьют. Мы «на всякий случай» взяли одну бутылочку – бутылочками мы пользовались только однажды, поили с началом прикорма из ложечек, потом прямо из поильников в качестве стакана. Поэтому на Кипре нам пришлось купить вторую бутылочку и постоянно покупать соки. Если здесь цены на детские соки за 200 мл начинаются от 15-20 руб., то на Кипре лучшее, что было – это 1,49 евро за 200 мл. Учитывая эту деталь, можно прикинуть, сколько кг соков мы бы ещё везли с собой, приготовившись заранее.

Отдельно скажу, что никаких вспышек аллергии во время поездки не было. Напротив, у Вари к концу отпуска прошёл диатез, у Льва на второй день исчезли сопли. И мы сами очень хорошо ощутили разницу в качестве воздуха.

- There were no dairy products in the menu. There weren’t also special children's yogurts on sale. We gave once adult’s yoghurt– a simple one, no filler, of organic composition. After some time passed we denied.
 
- We didn't take juice with us. We appeared to learn accidentally only in Cyprus that our children need drink. We "just in case" took one small bottle – we used small bottles only once, letting to drink from the beginning from spoons, then directly from sippy cups as a cup. Therefore in Cyprus we had to buy the second small bottle and keep buying juices. If the prices of children's juice 200 ml start at 15-20 rub here, in Cyprus the best prices were a 1,49 euro per 200 ml. Keeping in mind this little thing, it is possible to estimate, how many kg of juice we would carry with ourselves still, having prepared in advance.
 
Speaking of outbreaks of allergy I should say there were none during our vacation. On the contrary, Varya’s diathesis was cured by the end of vacation; Lev’s snivels disappeared on the second day. Actually, we felt the difference in the air quite well too.
 

Одежда | Clothes

Что пригодится, просчитать мы не могли. Поэтому решили взять всё, что у нас было, за исключением откровенно зимних вещей.

Самыми ходовыми были базовые вещи в виде боди с длинным и коротким рукавом. Они чаще остального пачкались от еды и питья. Также в номере часто именно в них Варя и Лев проводили время. Спасли в слипах, поскольку ночи были прохладные. На выход мы отдали предпочтение «раздельным» комплектам: боди+штаны+толстовки с капюшоном. Плюс пару непрактичных нарядов «на выход».

We couldn’t think of what kind of clothes will be useful for us. Therefore we decided to take everything we had, except for revealingly winter wear.
Basic clothes were body with long and short sleeves. They were soiled from food and drinks more often than the rest clothes. Variya and Lev spent their time mostly in these clothes at the hotel room. Because of the nights’ coolness they were sleeping in the slippers. We preferred separate sets of clothes for outside walks: body+pants+hooded sweatshirts. Plus we had a pair of impractical dresses for "dressing out".

В одежде, знаете, сложно что-то советовать. Мы в поликлинике зимой волнения устраивали, сидя в очереди без носков. Могу только отметить, что практичная вещь – толстовка с капюшоном. На море, когда ветер, поверх тонкой шапочки – удобно и не мешает малышу. По такому же принципу на вечер мы брали им дутые жилетки.

Также хорошая вещь – пледы. Накрыть, закутать.

Speaking of clothes, actually, it is difficult to advice. We were making a great fuss having no socks sitting in a queue at the hospital in winter. For all I know, I can only point out one practical thing – Hoodie. At sea when the wind blows, over a thin hood – is comfy and also doesn't disturb the kid. By the same principle down vests were chosen for the evening.
One really good thing is – plaids. You just have to cover, to wrap up. 

Два + одно про запас полотенце для купания.  Набор маленьких полотенец для вытирания поп IKEA

Две-три пары пелёнок. Их мы использовали в кроватках для сна и для организации досуга в них же. Часто днём карапузов голопопили, поэтому пелёнки полоскались. В качестве защиты использовали обратную сторону непромокаемых пелёнок Лента. 

Two + one towel for bathing in case of unpredictable situations. A set of IKEA small towels was used for a wipe of bottoms.
Two-three pairs of baby linen. We used them in cots during sleep time and for the leisure organization. We were leaving our kids naked frequently in the afternoon therefore baby linens were rinsed. Reverse side of Lenta waterproof linens was used as a protection.
 

График | Schedule

В отпуске у Вари и Льва немного изменился график – они стали раньше просыпаться, раньше засыпать. В целом же они просто больше спали из-за перманентного пребывания на действительно чистом воздухе. Никакой акклиматизации и прочих неприятностей, связанных со сменой обстановки, ни у кого из них не было. 

Varya’s and Lev’s schedule changed a bit on vacation time – they began to wake up earlier, to fall asleep earlier. In general, they simply slept more because of permanent clear air walks. No acclimatization and other troubles associated with the change of a setting were beheld at all.
 

Суровый быт в отеле | Harsh life in hotel

Нам пришлось брать следующий после стандарта номер, поскольку в стандартном максимально возможное число человек для заселения равно трём. Их возраст значения не имеет.

Разрешать им ползать по ковролину мы были морально не готовы.  Поэтому – либо кроватки, либо chillout на балконе.  В кроватках дети почти не спали – им пришлись по вкусу белоснежные хрустящие простыни, а не весёлые зайцы на зелёном фоне. 


We had to take a room following the standard one on the matter standard room had to host only number of persons equal to three. Age doesn’t matter. 

We were not ready to allow them to crawl on a carpet. Therefore – they had either cots or chill out at a balcony. Children didn’t want to sleep in their beds – yes relishing white crisp sheets is much better then cheerful hares on a green background.

Отдельно про кроватки. Нам «выдали» манеж-кровать Graco в числе двух штук. Многие (с одним ребёнком) покупают такие для путешествий. Она относительно мало весит и компактно складывается – можно брать с собой куда угодно. Некоторые покупают для дачи или в качестве манежа домой – в отличи от кроватки,  Graco легко передвигать, особенно в ненаполненном детьми состоянии.

Отдельно про кроватки. Нам «выдали» манеж-кровать Graco в числе двух штук. Многие (с одним ребёнком) покупают такие для путешествий. Она относительно мало весит и компактно складывается – можно брать с собой куда угодно. Некоторые покупают для дачи или в качестве манежа домой – в отличи от кроватки,  Graco легко передвигать, особенно в ненаполненном детьми состоянии.

Благодаря планировке у нас в номере был удобный шкаф как раз под детскую одежду. Комплимент в виде верёвочки для сушки над ванной пришёлся очень кстати. Белую поверхность с обеих сторон от раковины (которую нужно было бы заставить духами, баночками с кремами и т.д.) занимала мытая посуда и прошедшие водные процедуры игрушки.

Мыли карапузов каждый день (чтобы смыть санскрин) в раковине. Они отлично туда помещались. Если бы ещё смеситель поворачивался.

Thanks to room planning we had a comfy wardrobe perfect for kids’ clothes. The compliment in the form of a clothes line in a bathroom had a great success. The white surface on both sides of a washbasin (which should have been to be crammed by perfume, jars with creams, etc.) was occupied by the washed dishes and toys that undergone water procedures.
We bathed our peanuts every day (to wash away sunscreen) in a sink. They perfectly fit there. It would be great if the mixer turned to and fro!
 

Пеленальный столик также был оборудован в ванной на просто идеальном по ширине и длине для Льва и Вари выступе. От холода кафеля использовали коврик для йоги + пелёнка. В результате всё рядом: столик с подгузниками, раковина, мусорное ведро с откидывающейся крышкой, сушка для полотенец. 

The swaddling table was also equipped in a bathroom on a ledge simply ideal in width and length for Lev and Varya. We used a yoga mat to protect children from cold tile + baby linen. In result everything was right at hand: a little table with diapers, a sink, a bin with hinged lid, towel dryer.

Отдых | Rest

Лично для меня этот отпуск был важной сменой декораций, но не отдыхом. Отдых – это сон без перерывов вплоть до дурацких сновидений и отсутствие слова «надо». Единственный способ, который мы придумали, чтобы дать друг другу насладиться тишиной и ничегонеделаньем, это устраивать дежурства: один валяется на пляже, другой гуляет.
Йогой у меня не получилось позаниматься ни разу.

Personally for me, this holiday was important change of scenery, but not a rest at all. Rest is a dream without breaks up transforming into stupid dreams and absence of the word "necessary". The only way which made our dream came true, about our resting in peace and idleness, was to arrange chores: one lying on the beach, the other strolls.
I had no chance to practice yoga at all.
